Rocky is among thousands of stray dogs in Taiwan who have to battle the hostile living condition daily to survive. Plagued by flees, severe form of mange and liver problem, just to name a few, Rocky shows incredible strength surviving the worst imaginable.
Another deadly weapon Rocky has to encounter constantly is the traps set out by farmers to discourage stray dogs from coming to their property.
When Rocky was rescued, his fur was almost all gone, his teeth in bad shape, and none of his paws were complete, a chunk of his front leg was cut off by the trap. It is heartbreaking to see Rocky’s condition, and to know that anyone could put an animal in harm’s way like this.
UPDATE! After hospital treatments in Taiwan, as well as a move to California, Rocky was recently adopted out to a loving family!
